About the PAW-fessional Pet Sitters

Hi, I'm Meredith Dittman, owner operator of Purr-N-Paw Homecare. I am so happy and thankful that you are here because we absolutely love to take care of animals! We have a lot of experience in doing it as we ourselves are proud parents of two Shih Tzu’s (Sandy & Boston) and a Netherland Dwarf Rabbit (Oliver). My family and I have also experienced the care, concern and issues that arise when we've needed someone to take care of our pets when we have gone on vacation. That is one of the main reasons we started Purr-N-Paw Homecare. But to learn the true essence of why we started our business and our love for animals that drives all of our efforts, read on!

Drew’s story

Drew was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of two and is now in his early twenties. Drew officially graduated from high school in the spring of 2016 and he is really excited about that! He absolutely loves animals and has grown up with and taken care of our cat, dog, fish, frog or rabbit all his life. Drew has a very calm and sweet spirit which makes him the perfect animal care giver.

It's because of Drew's caring spirit and his love for animals, my husband and I decided to start a pet care business that Drew and I could do together.

Knowing that this is "serious business", Drew received expert vocational training at Oakstone Schools in the Canine Connections program. Drew and I also obtained extensive training on animal behaviors, animal handling, animal body language and common animal health concerns to name a few. We faithfully volunteer at Columbus Humane. Drew even helped to design the Purr-N-Paw Homecare logo through his graphic design class at his school.

As parents, we saw the gift that Drew has with animals and knew this was something that he would love to do. Drew shines when he is taking care of animals.

Purr-N-Paw Homecare became a reality because of our hopes, dreams and love for Drew. Drew and I as partners are committed to making your life better too, by providing you and your pet with the most loving pet care.
